ACT MATH
MATH IS ONE OF THE 4 SECTIONS IN THE ACT EXAM, THE STUDENT IS GIVEN 60 MIN TO ANSWER 60 QUESTIONS AND THE QUESTIONS DO NOT REQUIRE A CALCULATOR
However, the student is also not provided with any material or reference sheet so they will have to have basic knowledge of the formulas and concepts. ACT ENGLISH
FOR THE ENGLISH PART OF THE TEST, YOU WILL BE ALLOWED 45 MINS TO ANSWER 75 QUESTIONS
This is a relatively tough part since you are given less than 35 seconds to answer one question. With Aisha’s Tutoring, the student gets training and multiple practice tests so they are fully prepared to answer the questions with the time constraint. During the exam, you have 2 main areas of focus, usage and mechanics, and rhetorical skills. English is a crucial part of any ACT exam; it tests your knowledge and basic communication skills. It is also a stepping stone for other subjects including Biology l, History etc. ACT English can also help if you are planning on giving other standardized exams such as the SAT, SAT II etc. You are not tested on the spelling and vocabulary during the ACT English exam and the division of the topics is as follows:
ACT SCIENCE
FOR THE SCIENCE PORTION OF THE ACT EXAM, THE STUDENT IS GIVEN 40 QUESTIONS AND THEY ARE GIVEN 35 MIN TO ANSWER
The questions are from all 3 branches of sciences including chemistry, biology, and physics. Most students struggle with this option since it requires recalling a lot of complex concepts and formulas. With Aisha’s Tutoring, the students will be able to recall the formulas and concepts much quicker allowing them to solve the questions easily. We equip our students with mnemonics and show them experiments and demonstrations which allow them to recall a complex much faster. We also prepare the students with practice questions so they have an idea of the types of questions that can be asked. The science portion is divided into 3 categories:

WITHIN THE READING SECTION, YOU WILL BE GIVEN 40 QUESTIONS WITH 35 MIN TO ANSWER THEM
That equals less than a minute for each question. Students who don’t have a good reading speed tend to suffer in these questions as they don’t have enough time to read the passages. We at Aisha’s Tutoring train the students using various techniques such as visual learning using flashcards, picture associated words and videos to improve their reading speed so they don’t face such an issue.
