3RD GRADE PRONUNCIATION AND VOCABULARY

WAS A 3RD GRADE STUDENT
Who was struggling in her yearly reading curriculum. She was lagging behind in the coursework but her reading and fluency skills had not reached adequate levels for her grade. Her parents got worried and decided on extra classes to help her improve her skills but to no avail. After some research, they found Aisha’s Tutoring.

We then curated a custom reading plan fit to Carol’s specific problems. Her main problem in reading wasn’t with fluency or speed rather her issue centered around pronunciation and vocabulary. We decided that giving Carol a vocabulary list with the tutor helping in the pronunciation would be the best option to drastically improve her literacy level. We covered all aspects of reading with Carol to make sure she wasn’t lagging behind in other areas as she improved her vocabulary to ensure that everything was well-rounded.

As shown in the results below, Carol drastically improved in her assessment tests when we targeted her specific problems. We have Quantitative results which show the progress Carol has made from the start of the school year to the end. Although she started our program mid-semester she was able to make significant progress and reach the required reading level by the end of the year

The required reading standard for her grade and progress to the next grade. She even scored a B in her final reading assessment.
